One week packing list

Backpack (for carry on items)
Passport
Hat (if desired)
Flip flops
1 pair shorts
2 pair pants
Hiking shoes or boots
Socks and underwear (you can decide quantity on this one)
2-4 shirts (men, please bring at least one collared shirt; and dry fit material is always helpful in tropical conditions)
Insect repellant (I like Citronella oil)
Bible
Thin sleeping bag
Air mattress or pad
Camping pillow if desired (if you travel with a pillow)
Leather gloves
Toilet paper
Towel or shammy
Personal items (Pepto, Imodium, hand sanitizer, etc)
Light jacket
Bottle with filter (REI has good ones)
Flashlight with batteries
Camera and video equipment (I will have this as well)
Malaria medication and a strong antibiotic like Cipro
